Meta Ads Manager alternative: launchers for many ad accounts

Meta Ads Manager alternatives for bulk launching

Meta Ads Manager already imports ads in bulk from an Excel file, and Apogee, Ads Uploader and Birch (formerly Revealbot) Stage replace that spreadsheet with a folder or a plan in Google Sheets. Apogee Starter costs $69 per seat a month and Ads Uploader $59 a month for one user, both on monthly billing.

Apogee can be tried on a real batch for 7 days at $1, with a card required, from the trial button below.

What Meta's own import does

Meta's help says advertisers can bulk import ads to Ads Manager on desktop by uploading an Excel spreadsheet with campaign, ad set and ad information. You can download a template for new ads or export existing ads as a spreadsheet, and Ads Manager can bulk import images. The file limit is about 2 MB, and some advertising features may be unsupported in import and export.

The steps: open More under the Ads, Ad sets or Campaigns tab and choose Import ads in bulk. Meta shows a summary of warnings and blocking errors afterward. Duplication is a second free route: select ads, choose Duplicate, pick the campaign and the number of copies. The Meta ads bulk upload template page covers the file in detail.

Apogee: a folder in, ads out

Apogee imports creatives from your computer, Google Drive, Frame.io or Dropbox, detects concept, iteration and format from file names, and offers four test structures: one ad set per ad, one per concept, all in one, or insert into an existing ad set. Launches can go live, be created paused, or be scheduled.

Setup is through a login with a Meta account. Apogee does not bulk upload carousels, and one batch launches to one platform. Starter is Meta only; TikTok and Snapchat start with Pro at $99 per seat a month. The Apogee review lists each limit.

Ads Uploader and Birch Stage

Ads Uploader launches Meta ads from Google Drive or legacy XLSX uploads. Solo Unlimited is $59 a month on monthly billing, or $44 a month billed annually at $528, for one user with unlimited ad accounts. A Team plan adds centralized billing and user management, priced per user.

Birch Stage reads a launch plan from Google Sheets and media from Google Drive, with one sheet per platform: Meta, TikTok or Snapchat. It is free for 50 uploads a month, and 900 uploads cost $500 a month billed monthly.

When to stay in Ads Manager

Take a solo advertiser launching a dozen ads a month. Meta's import and duplication cost nothing extra, and Apogee's own guide says that below roughly ten ads a month the time saved does not cover a subscription. A dozen sits near that line, so run the import on one batch first.

• Stay in Ads Manager for a few ads a month.
• Pick Ads Uploader for one Meta buyer on a flat plan.
• Pick Birch Stage for launches planned in Google Sheets.
• Pick Apogee for many ad accounts, creatives named by concept, or TikTok and Snapchat on Pro. Compare launchers in Meta ads bulk launcher options.
